OT & The Elders will be kicking out thee jamz with the mighty, mighty Best Coast at The Joiners in Southampton on 3rd May.

Bethany of Best Coast used to be in Pocahaunted and we have loved them since forever. Their sunstruck, guitar pop shimmer will be the perfect Left Coast main after a California-inspired Tromansmusick starter.

Best Coast hear.

UNSEEN TEMPLE TAPES! 15/03/10
Sacred Geometry presents The Unseen Temple: A James Acre Anthology, a unique collection of documents relating to the philosopher, musician and controversial leader of The Unseen Temple cult of Maine, USA. For many their first encounter with James Acre was through the Owen Tromans & The Elders album The Fall of Acre, which weaved a narrative song-cycle around Acre and his unusual cult. This anthology brings together Acre’s music with expert commentary on his life and thought for the first time. Central to the anthology is Archer Sanderson’s excellent biography of Acre, with appendices covering Temple symbolism and Acre’s music. This music is represented by a facsimile of the green cassette that Acre circulated during his leadership of The Unseen Temple, wherein Acre leads the cult’s house band through three powerful, extended psych-rock instrumentals. Sourced from the original master tapes and with improved sound quality, this is the best representation of The Unseen Temple’s music we currently have. For those without a tape deck a beautifully illustrated download card allows listeners to acquire the music as high quality mp3s from the Sacred Geometry website. A limited-edition Sacred Geometry badge and sticker round out the collection nicely. This collection is strictly limited so act fast!

Fall Of Acre 15/09/09
Busy times here.

The new Owen Tromans & The Elders album, “The Fall of Acre”, will be released on October 26th on CD and download. Prior to that a single edit of Acre itself will be available on your favourite download site from September 21st.

The album follows characters from some of Owen’s previous songs in a struggle with the cult leader James Acre and is a heavy dose of mythick suburban grand narrative, complete with a sea shanty dream section and the highest trumpet quota of any Tromans album to date. Oh yes.

Unseen Temple join Sacred Geometry 14/09/09

We are also working with The Unseen Temple to have some of James Acre’s psych-rock trax released to the public on the cassette format. Green cassettes sound best so we’ll be using those.

RADIATOR ZINE! 13/09/09
Sacred Geometry is also pleased to announce that we will be working with design maestro Alex Hornsby on issue #2 of Radiator zine. Expect a free CD with every issue.
