Matthew Bayot
Matthew Bayot, a singer/songwriter, guitarist and sitarist, studied classical Indian music with Ustad Imrat Khan for seven years. A genuine altar boy from Saint Louis, Missouri he enjoys pretending to do yoga and drinking whiskey. He has been to ZhouZhuang, China and to Clarksdale, Mississippi. His style pretty well defies labeling. Is it punk? Is it easy listening? The music creeps up on one with a sweet insistence, much like its creator, who enjoys staying up late crying over reruns of 'Good Times.'
