Islet share a special digital release of ‘Geese’, newly remixed by Welsh artist Gwenno. An aching re-imagining of lead single from this year’s Welsh Music Prize shortlisted and highly praised Islet album ‘Eyelet’.
“Be my paradise, be my paradise,” intones Islet’s Emma Daman Thomas before she spirals skywards with a departing flock on this exquisite remix of ‘Geese’ from the band’s much praised album of March 2020 ‘Eyelet’.
The new remix is a beautifully ethereal dream pop take on the song. A slow-motion re-imagining, an immersive and sublime moment on modern pop music.
