“The Lemonheads are one of my favourite bands” Jimmy Fallon
The Lemonheads took the stage on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on January 20th, and played ‘Roky’ from their recently released album ‘Love Chant’, co-written with Nick Saloman of The Bevis Frond, a song dedicated to the late Roky Erickson.
The band also performed their classic ‘My Drug Buddy’ from ‘It’s A Shame About Ray’, with Jimmy Fallon joining in for the singalong. You can watch the videos of the performances over at The Tonight Show’s YouTube Channel.
“The Lemonheads play late night TV for the first time in 30 years … Fallon was so psyched about it, to the point where he had to jump in there and sing some harmony vocals.” Stereogum
