‘Baptism Of Fire’ New 2020-2021 Label Compilation

Hold Aloft The Torch! The Future Is Nigh!

The Fire label ignites with the trippy electronic psyche pop of Jane Weaver, Virginia Wing, Islet and Pictish Trail alongside the luscious pop smarts of Dead Famous People and Tobin Sprout’s stripped-back Cash-like re-reading of the American songbook; perfect kindling for the majestic punk/prog meltzone of Rats On Rafts, the tortured, inflammable left-field punk of RVG and the detuned outsider squall of Half Japanese. Adding fuel to this beacon of hope is the dishevelled dystopian rock of Throwing Muses, the American Gothic inferno of Black Lips, the sensuous aural tapestries of Faten Kanaan, the other worldly spirituality of Josephine Foster and the freak-folk mysticality of Brigid Mae Power.

‘Baptism Of Fire’ includes a stunning, previously unreleased Brigid Mae Power cover of Patsy Cline’s aching ‘Leavin’ On Your Mind’, plus new music from the gorgeously eclectic Modern Studies and Islet’s euphoric remix of ‘Geese’ courtesy of multi-award winning chanteuse Gwenno.

First orders will get our ‘Baptism Of Fire’ exclusive compilation. Also included with ‘Baptsim Of Fire’ t-shirt.
