Haylie Davis releases ‘Golden Age’ her first single for Fire Records on September 24th. A gorgeous piece of plush melancholy, it’s a welcome tease for her debut album which will follow in 2026.
Davis belongs to an intriguing LA scene that boasts several acts harking back to the halcyon days of Laurel Canyon songwriting – including Alex Amen, Drugdealer, Sylvie and Sam Burton.
From origins of psychedelic folk pop and 70s cosmic Americana, Haylie’s sound is an infectious alternative take on modern pop music, with plenty of hooks and a huge chorus; she is the Carly Simon for post-Generation Z. Her euphoric range sits somewhere between Joan Baez, Carole King and Emmylou Harris.
Haylie Davis is a Los Angeles based artist beginning a release campaign with Fire Records for her debut album scheduled for 2026. For her debut full-length Davis ventures into the world of rock n’ roll and pop while still touching on past influences from country and folk. The first single, “Golden Age,” will be out in September. Haylie Davis’ voice can also be found on many other projects in the scene such as “Dear Departed” by Sam Burton, “Hiding in Plain Sight” by Drugdealer, “California Blues” by Alex Amen, Sylvie, and more.
Haylie Davis is hosting a single launch on 27th September at Gold Diggers, LA, US.
