Josephine Foster Reveals New Track ‘A Thimbleful Of Milk’ from forthcoming album

Modern American folk singer-songwriter Josephine Foster Reveals New Track ‘A Thimbleful Of Milk’, taken from her new album ‘No More Lamps In The Morning’.

Recorded live to tape by Henry Hirsch and Patrick Higgins at Future-Past Studios, Hudson, New York during February 2014, the album features Foster on nylon string guitar, Victor Herrero on Portuguese guitar and Gyða Valtýsdóttir on cello. The album also features lyrics derived from poems by Rudyard Kipling and James Joyce on “Blue Roses” and “My Dove, My Beautiful One” respectively.

No More Lamps In The Morning is set to be released 5 February 2016 on Fire. Foster will take up a two-day residency at Cafe Oto in London, 25–26 February, 2016. She will be joined on the second day by Herrero.
