Mega Bog’s ‘Dolphine’ has been used on Adidas ‘End Plastic Waste’ spot

Published by Fire Songs and released on Paradise of Bachelors, the song ‘Dolphine’  from Mega Bog’s fifth album of the same name has been used on Adidas ‘End Plastic Waste’ spot, with a story narrated by Henry Golding, actor and fellow environmentalist.

“Erin Birgy’s fifth album feels like the heartfelt expression of a uniquely weird viewpoint. It flits from groovy jazz to psych-pop to sylvan folk with freaky glee… Even at its most inexplicable, there’s not a moment on Dolphine that feels careless. As her imagination roams, Birgy understands that sometimes irrationality is necessary to make sense of reality”  Pitchfork

Erin Birgy’s quizzical approach makes for surrealist pop at once comforting and unsettling. Echoes of Stereolab, King Crimson, and Yoko Ono abound.

The Guardian ★★★★

Erin Birgy’s idiosyncrasies bear resemblance to the off-kilter lyricism of Cate Le Bon or Aldous Harding, the elastic voice of Jessica Pratt, or the cosmic guitar reverence of Big Thief
