LA duo Monde UFO return with a double single taken from the sessions for their forthcoming 2027 album. ‘1159’ is a hazy, cinematic piece of experimental indie pop, it layers woozy guitars, soft-focus ambience, subtle strings and lo-fi textures over an unhurried rhythm, building a rich, psychedelic soundscape.
‘Rangini Drone’ is as a fully immersive meditative raga where free-form saxophone lines unfold with a searching energy and a rawness that is balanced by the more delicate mantra-like repetitions. These two singles show different facets of Monde UFO’s sound and the vivid sonic spaces they create so effortlessly.

Monde UFO are part of the line up for Weird Walk’s Samhain Ritual, an annual gathering of music, movement and myth will take place at Earth Theatre in Hackney on 29th October.
The evening will be guided by returning host, folklore devotee and comedian Stewart Lee. Also performing are Vanishing Twin, Deradoorian, Chlöe Herington (performing music from the original soundtrack for The Archivist), Boss Morris and Tree Carr.
