Nagambie, Australia’s Tropical Fu*k Storm revisit the live album concept on new release Inflatable Graveyard Vol. 2 (out October 16th on Fire Records), their second live album and follow-up to 2025’s critically acclaimed LP Fairyland Codex. Alongside the live release they guest curate this year’s Le Guess Who festival in Utrecht before their UK tour and seven Australian live dates touring with Queens Of The Stone Age.
Recorded over three nights during a sold-out residency at NYC venue TV Eye, Inflatable Graveyard Vol. 2 finds the band at the height of their incendiary powers. It is the sound of the band in their natural habitat, turning already combustible songs into something even more ferocious and unpredictable.
With the songs from Tropical Fu*k Storm’s then-new album, Fairyland Codex, fine-tuned and road tested after half a year of heavy touring, TFS stretch their new material into different forms. Songs like ballad “Stepping on a Rake” take on heavier undertones, “Irukandji Syndrome” becomes a launchpad for a guitar solo worthy of the Velvets’ “I Heard Her Call My Name,” and “Moscovium” sounds more urgent than ever.
The group also revisits previous tracks including “Who’s My Eugene” and “You Let My Tires Down,” and pays tribute to Australian punk heroes The Saints with a cover of “This Perfect Day.”
Tropical Fu*k Storm have built a catalogue worth obsessing over, but their live show is where the band’s brilliance really breaks open, and Inflatable Graveyard Vol. 2 catches that chaos in the act.

Tropical Fu*k Storm formed when guitarist and vocalist Gareth Liddiard and bassist and vocalist Fiona Kitschin’s previous band, The Drones, went on hiatus in 2016. Joined by guitarist, keyboardist, and vocalist Erica Dunn and drummer Lauren Hammel, the group has released a string of critically acclaimed albums and gained a global reputation for their face-melting live shows. Their last album, Fairyland Codex, was nominated for the prestigious Australian Music Prize and received critical acclaim from The Needle Drop, Bandcamp, Post-Trash, MOJO, and more.
